She was predeceased by : her parents, John W. Lawing and Effie Lewis Lawing; and her brothers, Paul, Otis and Carl Lawing.
She is survived by : her siblings, Vernon Lawing (Betty) of Denver, NC, Ollis Lawing (Joyce) of Nebo, Eula Brown of Ellenboro, NC and Pamela Killian (David) of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
