With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Jones Scott (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Pollocksville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Jones and Gertrude Jones; her parents-in-law, Ralph and Evelyn Scott; and her sister Nell Johnston.

She is survived by : her significant other Lonnie Scott; her children, Jennifer Scott Frazee (Chris), Lonnie Bryan Scott (Katie) and Kim Scott Spitler (Bo); her grandchildren, Carson Spitler, Connor Spitler, Grayson Frazee, Griffin Frazee and Caysee Scott; her siblings, Rose White, Bill Jones and Doug Jones; and her brother-in-law Ralph Scott Jr..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Tabernacle Baptist Church.
