It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byas Carlton Lamb Jr. of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Byas Carlton Lamb, Sr. and Annie Mae Moore Lamb; his daughter Linda Lamb Coley; and his brother Richard Lamb. He is survived by: his wife Carol Miller Lamb; his son Robert C. Lamb; his son-in-law Frankie Coley (Loren); his grandsons, Austin Coley (Makayla) and Tanner Coley (Averee); his great grandchild Thomas Coley; and his sisters, Carol Grondin (Arthur) and Nancy Hughs (Ken).
