She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond H. Hardman Sr. and Gertrude Hyder Hardman; her husbands, Hubert Earl Carawon Sr. and John Ward; her brother Raymond H. Hardman Jr.; and her son Hubert Earl "Butch" Carawon Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Linda Sue "Suzy" Pickle; her daughter Kimberly Carawon Stilley (Gary); her stepchildren, Edward Thomas Ward (Audria) and Linda Ward Overton (Harold); and her daughter-in-law Susan Bode Carawon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenleaf Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel (900 River Rd, New Bern, NC 28562). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
