He was predeceased by: his parents, Garvin Wells, Sr. and Alice Wells (McCormack); his brother George Wells; and his son Darren Palmatier. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Wells (Ravesi Palmatier); his children, Colleen Reesink-Wells (Arjan Reesink), Brian Wells, Duane Palmatier (Jen Gifford) and Garvin Wells III; his granddaughter Audrey Reesink; his sister Geraldine Whitenight; and his sister-in-law Kathy Wells.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Timothy Doyle Funeral Home (82 W Main St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Craven County Hospice, 2818 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28562 or Blood Cancer United (Donate to Blood Cancer United), honoring the compassionate care and causes close to Garvin's heart.
