He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Burris and Emma Pauline Morris Burris; and his brother Keith Burris. He is survived by: his wife Betty Griffin Burris; his sons, Kerry Burris (Ginny) of New London and Dale Burris (Lori) of Richfield; and his sisters, Jean Miller of New London and Linda Burris of New London. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
