He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hallman and Arttie Hallman (Ledbetter); his wife Elsie Mae Hallman; and his siblings, Larry Joe Hallman and Corita Purcell.

He is survived by : his son Alan Hallman of Asheboro, NC; his daughter-in-law Vickie Hallman; his daughter Suzanne Lauder (Doug); and his siblings, Daniel Hallman (Jackie), Jimmy Hallman (Patricia), Sylvia Bagbey and Gloria Bergey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
