She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Hull and Junnie McNeely Hull; her husband Jesse L. Smith; and her grandson Jonathan Beck. She is survived by: her son Jerry W. Beck (Debbie W. Beck); her great grandchild Cordae Jackson; her grandson Mason Yelton of Bostic, NC; her daughters, Dessa Hampton Millwood of Cherryville, NC, Helene Hampton and Sydney H. Beck of Lake Lure, NC; and her granddaughters, Melissa Beck Shankle and Stephanie Lauren Byrd.
