It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Eleanor Turner of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Wolfe and Marguerite Wolfe; her husband Grant C. Turner; her son Douglas G. Turner; her sister Jean Parker; and her grandson Eric Meek.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Turner, Debbie West of Louisburg, Dawn Morse (Glenn) of Waterloo, NY, Deena Voorhees of Rutledge, TN and Dwight Turner (Coleen) of Newport; her daughter-in-law Sandra Turner of Waynesboro, VA; and her sister Jo Ann Wolfe of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
