She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hysong and Anna Hysong. She is survived by: her children, Donald Heim of New Bern, Richard Heim of New Bern, Donna Scriven (Mark) of Newport and Christopher "CJ" Evans of Newport. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
