He was predeceased by: his former wife Marie Ebron; his significant other Marie Garner; his parents, Needham Garner and Swanona Garner; his son Charles "Bo" Garner, Jr.; his grandson Charles "Chuck" Garner III; his great grandchild Robert J Becker, Jr.; and his sisters, Mary Craig, Olene Warren and Christine "Donie" Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Garner; his daughters, Cherry Ragan (Randy Ragan) of Newport and Charlene Garner Stoops of Aberdeen, Ohio; his sister Cherry LaShan of Newport; and his grandchildren, Donna Bradshaw, Steve Ragan, Jackie Bradsher, Cheryl Oakley, Christie Rock, Clint Stoops and Brandon Stoops. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
