It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Dewain Dixon (Newport, North Carolina), who passed away on April 2, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Michael Dixon; and his cousin Anthony Simmons. He is survived by: his close friend David Pohoresky; his parents, Michelle "Shelly" Davis (Robert McCarthy) of Newport and Michael Dixon (Melissa "Missy") of Newport; his sister Courtney Moreno of Havelock; his stepsiblings, Melissa Wilkins of Newport, Joanna Griffin of Newport and Jeremy Nelson of Newport; his stepmother Alexa Dixon of Morehead City; his grandmother Zelma Dixon; his aunts, Sherry Bailey (Rob), Lisa Koenig, Cheryl Murnane (Dave) and DJ Long (Richard); his uncle Joshua Dixon; and his cousin Cameron Bailey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help the family with final expenses to Munden Funeral Home at 2112 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC 28557.
