He was predeceased by: his parents, William Forrest and Letha Forrest; and his sister Joyce Hidey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Forrest; and his daughter Lora Lee of Vanceboro. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
