He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Robinson Gaskill and Donald King Gaskill Sr.; and his son Wayne McCullen. He is survived by: his wife Emily Gaskill of Newport; his children, JoAnna Griffin of Morehead City, Rebecca Gaskill of New Bern, Sallie Salter of Newport and Thomas Tyndall (Brittany) of Havelock; and his siblings, Linda Gray (Ronald) of Morehead City, Nancy Valencia of Mill Creek and Billy Gaskill (Gail) of Fleetwood, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; and more nieces and nephews.
