With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Whaley Kahny of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Kahny; her parents, Ruth Bellwood and Calvin Whaley; and her siblings, Elsie Whaley Wynne and Leo "Sam" Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, Clifton "Cotton" Whaley (Martha) of Morehead City, Deborah Dudley of Virginia Beach and Terri Charrette (John) of Front Royal, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Anglea Martin of Norfolk and Ashley Jones (David) of Morehead City; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Martin of Virginia Beach, Ashton Martin of Norfolk, Hattie of Morehead City and Taylor Jones of Morehead City.
