It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Thomas Stanley of Newport, North Carolina, born in Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezickel Stanley Jr. and Beulah Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Tina Stanley; his children, Amanda Jernigan of Newport, Jennifer Jernigan of Newport and John Jernigan III of Swansboro; and his siblings, Darlene Whitley of Washington, Tina Early of Danville and Derek Evett of Mississippi.
