He is survived by: his parents, Janet Curtis and Elmore Curtis Sr. of Newport, NC; his grandmother Emma Curtis of Morehead City, NC; his children, Taishauna M. Curtis of Washington, D. C., Mercedes O. Curtis of Greenville, NC and Dejaney M. Curtis of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; his grandchildren, My'Laune Smith and Cam'Reigh Little; and his siblings, Darin Curtis (Rhonda) of Garner, NC, Timothy L. Curtis (Bethany) of Virginia Beach, VA and Tabatha Smith (Michael) of Raleigh. He is also survived by eight aunts; seven uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
