She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Pittman Jr.; her son Edwin Keith Pittman; her grandson Dennis Pittman Jr.; and her parents, Dallas Gatlin and Bessie Gatlin.

She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Pittman (Sherry) of Swansboro, Larry Pittman (Malinda), Kevin Pittman (Tammy) of Newport, Dennis Pittman (Gladys) of Newport and Judy Pittman (Dale) of South River; her grandchildren, Roger Pittman (Amanda) of Beaufort, Larry Pittman Jr. (Brandy) of Newport, Amy Fultz (Nathaniel) of Newport and Adam Pittman of Newport; her great grandchildren, Gracyn, Hailey Pittman of Beaufort, Page Pittman of Newport, Marley Pittman of Newport, Chase Pittman of Newport, Jordan Quillen, Noah Moorer of Newport, Adriana of Newport, Nathaniel Jr. of Newport and Christian Fultz of Newport; her siblings, Ruby Payne (Hugh) of Newport, Virginia Wells of Phoenix, AZ and John Gatlin (Janice) of Como, TX; and her close friends, Bill and Brenda Stroud.
