He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Winston Wade Sr. and Thelma Smith Wade; and his brother Richard "Dicky" Wade. He is survived by: his children, Thelma Susan Winkler (Mike) of North Wilkesboro, NC, Elizabeth "Betsy" Rachel Mason of Morehead City, NC and Francis "Frank" Wade III of Morehead City, NC; and his brother Dennis Earl Wade of Florida. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557).
