It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyne Jeanne Brown (Newport, North Carolina), who passed away on November 9, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Leroy Brown; her parents, Lola Jeanne Hansen and Albert Fredrick Hansen; her daughter Lola Lorraine Clark; her daughter-in-law Joyce Brown; her grandson Ken Brown; and her brother Robert R. Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Olkowski (Kevin) of Newport, Larry Leroy Brown (Martha) of Tyler, TX and Ronald Kenneth Brown of Mulberry, FL; her brother Norwood O. Hansen (Ann) of Rapid City, SD; and her grandson Tony Clark (Jana) of Council Bluffs, IA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gwendolyne's memory to the Emerald Isle Sea Turtle Patrol at 312 W. Firetower Rd., Peletier NC 28584.
