It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Dewitt Myers of Newport, North Carolina, born in Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Boyd C. Myers II; her children, Boyd, Leslie and Michael; her grandchildren, Amy, Aryn, Melissa, Emily, Kelly and Lindsay; and her great grandchildren, Justus, Abbigail, Lennon and Coen.

Interment will take place on Tuesday August 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Greenleaf Memorial Park in New Bern.
