He was predeceased by: his father Herman J. Rivenbark; his wife Jo Ann Rivenbark; and his sister Hilda Southerland. He is survived by: his sons, Arnold Rivenbark of Belhaven and Marty Rivenbark Jr. of Newport; his sisters, Hazel Rivenbark of Burgaw and Geneva Grady of Burgaw; his grandchildren, Trey Rivenbark (Falyn), Joseph Rivenbark, Samantha Piner (Drew), Savannah Royal and Kimberly Rivenbark; his great grandchildren, Preston Styron, Beau Rivenbark, Sarah Ann Piner, Bryce Piner and Memphis Rivenbark; and his close friend Michelle Kent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
