She was predeceased by: her husband John P. Slater; and her daughter Carol Lynn Owens of Newport. She is survived by: her children, Karen of Baltimore, MD, Phyllis (David Dunkerson) of Indianapolis, IN, Brenda (Tom Pettry) of Yuma, AZ, Bradley Slater of Newport, Virginia Brown of Harlowe and Victor (Cheryl Slater) of Newport.
