She is survived by: her husband Harry "Jack" Smith, Jr.; her stepson Michael Smith of Newport; her siblings, Shirley Miller (Winn) of Bailey, NC, Linda Taylor (Terry) of Albemarle, NC, James William Newman of Fayetteville, NC, Gerald Newman (Cindy) of Wilmington, NC and Charles "Charlie" Newman (Jeannie) of Roseboro, NC; and her stepgrandson Aden Smith.
