She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Pittman and Isadora Pittman; her husband Ross Simpson; and her son Anthony Simpson. She is survived by: her granddaughter Crystal Simpson Lawrence. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
