She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hannah and Wilma Hannah; and her brother Charles Hannah. She is survived by: her husband Edward Nelson; her children, Kimberly O'Hara of Newport, Derek Smith of Morehead City and Christian Nelson (Barbara) of Columbia, TN; her grandchildren, Cameron O'Hara and Samantha Nelson; and her pet Jack.
