She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Mills and Margaret Mills; her siblings, Carroll Mills, Victor Mills, Jimmy Mills, Wanda Mizelle, Gerry Styron and Evangeline Murdoch; and her husband David R. Murdoch, Sr. (Christopher "Buddy" Norris).
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Shirley (Marty) and David Ray Murdoch, Jr. (Kim); her stepdaughter Debbie Sturgill (Mike); her grandchildren, Britney, Alex, Makenna, Grace, David, Madeline, Wayne, Kala and Brody; her great grandchild Caedon; her sister Joann Cottle; her friend Beth Slaughter; and her close friend Sully.
