It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Jones of Newport, North Carolina, born in Leesville, Louisiana, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edwards and Mattie Edwards; her son Matthew Rushing; and her pet Mia. She is survived by: her husband Edward "Eddie" Jones; her brothers, Danny Edwards of Newport and Jimmy Edwards (Verna) of Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Ethan Rushing, Angel Rushing, Clayton Rushing and Jackson Rushing.
