He is survived by: his wife Michelle Cassity; his son David Lowell Cassity of Newport; his sisters, Sharon Dyer of Dalton, GA, Tomi Jones of Newport and Robin Rogers of New Bern; and his siblings' children, Matthew McGhee, Steven Jones, Ben Dyer, Marcia Jones and Tracy Van-Loo.
