She was predeceased by: her parents, David Clifford and Alice Mae Pittman Morris; her husband Dillard Webster Russell; her siblings, Douglas Morris, Vernon Morris, Jean Kay and Annie Mae Murdoch; and her son Nolan Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Irene Huffman of Swansboro, Bertha Russell of Salty Shores, Mary Saul of Hubert, Polly Simpson of Newport, Denise Howe, Charles Russell of Swansboro, Ray Russell of Swansboro, Walter Russell of Newport, Steve Russell of Jacksonville, Ricky Russell of Newport, Roy Russell of Peletier and Timmy Russell of Hubert; and her siblings, C. B. Morris of Hampstead, Ruthie Maness of Swansboro, Bertie Thurlow of Hubert, Marie Preston and Hilda Grace Hodges of Greenville. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
