He was predeceased by: his brother James Roscoe Garner. He is survived by: his wife Ann Garner; his children, Teresa Purcell (Dennis) of Newport, Elizabeth Garner of Morehead City, Pamela Rose (Kenny) of Newport and David Garner (Debbie) of Newport; his sister Ailene Garner of Newport; his grandchildren, Angela Garner, James Miller, David Garner Jr., Bennett Rose and Christopher Rose; his great grandchildren, Kairi Miller, Roran Miller, Oliver Garner and Evren Garner; Amy Parish, Sherry and Jenny Lynn.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
