He was predeceased by: his parents, Mann Waters and Jessie Waters; his son Eric Bartsch; and his siblings, Margaret Mills, Oleta Bunch, Julia Dickenson, Albert Pollock and Arthur Pollock.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Pollock; his children, Carol Lee Hayon of Boston, MA, Kathy Lamour of Miami, FL, Al Pollock of Arapahoe, NC and Scott Pollock of Newport, NC; and his siblings, Hilda Pollock Hill Garner of Dunn, NC, William "Bill" Pollock (Alice) of Newport, NC and Harold Roger Pollock (Linda) of Newport, NC. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
