Margaret Mewborn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Mewborn of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on February 21, 2021 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ron Mewborn; and her sister Andrea Cheever Cooper. She is survived by: her parents, Edward Cheever and Yasuko Cheever of Havelock; her son Gene Adams (Melissa) of Newport; her siblings, Jimmy Cheever (Geri) of Newport and Cathy Hill (Kevin) of Morehead City; her grandchildren, Easton Adams and Emersyn Adams; and her siblings' children, JJ Cheever, Tommy Cheever, Courtney Cheever, Tony Cheever, Michelle Cooper, Kevin Cooper and Whitney Girard.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
