With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Joyce Volkman of Newport, North Carolina, born in New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bryn Volkman; her children, Catherine and Mike; her siblings, Pat, Mike, David, John, Cathy and Judy; her grandchildren, Courtney, Joey, Jay, Hadley and Torin; her great grandchildren, Archer and Evelyn; her son James Volkman; her parents, Lillian Joyce and Paul Joyce; and her grandson Tyler Dunn. She was also cherished by brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many dear friends.
