She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Vincent. She is survived by: her husband Silva of Newport; her children, Kendall Lewis of Beaufort and Andrew Lewis of Cape Carteret; and her siblings, Becky Smith of Garner, Nina Blackman of Smithfield, Melissa Vincent of Morehead City and Kevin Vincent of Beaufort.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Martha to the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina or the Brennan Children's Hospital of Baptist Hospital of Winston-Salem.
