She is survived by: her sister Mary; her husband Leon Dowdy; her sons, Bryan Dowdy of Newport, Daniel Dowdy (Melissa) of Newport and Justin Dowdy of Newport; her sister Brenda Harvey of Killeen, TX; her grandchildren, Sierra, Jasmine, Lyla, Dillon, Heather, Cora Mae and Veta Lynn; and also Jamie Hitchcock.
