Myra Johnston Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Johnston of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Murdoch and Elsie Murdoch; her husband Cone Johnston, Sr.; her son Ray Johnston; her brothers, Bert Murdoch and David Murdoch; and her grandson Stephen Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Ross (James) of Newport, Ann Newman (Marvin) of Newport, Cone "Bubba" Johnston, Jr. of Newport and John Johnston (Bonnie) of Newport; her brother Preston Murdoch (Nita) of Carrollton, VA; her aunt Clara Rizzo of Newport; and her sister-in-law Judy Norris. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
