He was predeceased by: his pet Zeus. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Cruz Ramos Arias of Newport, NC; his mother Maria Ines Cuevas Xolot of Veracruz, Mexico; his daughters, Jimena Machucho Malaga (Jairo Uriel) of Veracruz, Rocio and Carmen Ramos Arias (Jerry Castro-Jiminez) of Morehead City, NC; his siblings, Angelica Maria Machucho Cuevas (Susana Sosme Cuevas), Rolando Sosme Cuevas of Veracruz, Mexico and Marco Antonio Sosme Cuevas of Veracruz, Mexico; and his grandsons, Nathanael Ramos Arias and Hector Castro Ramos.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557).
