He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Howard and Laura "Bell" Howard; his brother Linwood Howard; and his daughter-in-law Linda Howard. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Howard; his children, Christy Howard of Vermont and Lee Howard of Havelock; and his siblings, Elsie Lewis of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Bruce Howard (Yvonne) of Newport, NC. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
