He is survived by: his wife Donna Tucker Marion; his daughters, Tara Marion-Short (Chris) of Marshallberg, NC and Kristi Massey (Jason) of Mt. Airy, NC; his daughter-in-law Erin Simpson (Dayton Phillips) of Dobson, NC; his sister Elizabeth Marion of Marion, NC; his grandchildren, Keaton Massey (Bethany Hewitt), Max Short, Georgia Short, Emerson Simpson, Simpson III and Wylder Phillips; his uncle Tommy Draughn; his children, Jessie and Jimmy Mitchell of Atlantic, NC; and his grandchildren, Cooper Mitchell, Emery Mitchell and Sammy Humphries.
