He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Potter and Lillian Potter. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Potter; his sons, Christopher Tomassi of Newport, Richard Potter III of New Britain, CT, Scott Tomassi (Lori) of Newport and Bryan Potter of New Britain, CT; and his sister Cindy Horvack (John) of Newington, CT. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
