Rosemary Mormann Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary Mormann (Newport, North Carolina), who passed away on September 15, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Lawson and Clarence Mormann; and her sister Edith Gosnell. She is survived by: her significant other Rick Wirt of Newport; her children, Laurie Montefusco (Carl) of Springfield, MA, Cynthia Hopkins of Morehead City, Michele Hopkins of Morehead City, Rose Hopkins of Springfield, MA, Susan Hopkins of Morehead City, Lawrence Hopkins (Sherry) of Newport and Michael Hopkins (Carmen) of Odessa, TX; her siblings, Ann Denner (Carleton) of Maryland and Edward Mormann of Maryland; and her grandchildren, Cara Montefusco Mock, Jesse Gibbs, Edward Cole, Yaicha Montefusco, Jessica Hopkins Jordan, Corey Cunningham, Brianne Hopkins, Rhea Cunningham McCray, Andrew Burdick, Joseph Giroux, Sonia Garcia and Edward Hill. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
