She is survived by: her husband Louis of Newport, NC; her sons, Michael Furna and David Furna (Maria) of Newport, NC; her grandsons, Samuel Furna (Kelly) of Raleigh, NC and Joseph Furna of San Diego, CA; and her brother Samuel E. Winn, III (Merilyn) of Sutherland, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
