She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtis Barnes and Theodore Adolph Barnes; her daughter Renee Hunt; her siblings, Ann Marie Mason, Vonda Mason and Maxton Mason; and her nephew Joe Giffin.
She is survived by: her daughter Vonnie Hunt Seebach of Swansboro; her brother Theodore "Teddy" Barnes (Alice) of Beaufort; her granddaughters, Rachael Powers of Swansboro and Alexandra Logue (Tyson) of Cuba, NY; her great grandchildren, Elijah Perkins and Emma Logue; and her nieces, Karen Costa and Teresa Hughes.
