He is survived by: his children, William Jude Salter (Emily) of Broad Creek, Shelton Davis Salter, Jr. (Ashley) of Broad Creek and Morgan Alexa Salter (Jedediah Naegelen) of Broad Creek; his grandchildren, John Adams of Greenville and Allie Adams of Swansboro; his great grandchild Mason Lee Willis of Swansboro; his sister Sabra Hall of Broad Creek; and his pet Angel.
