It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherri Faulk Martin of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles N. Faulk and Nellie Lou Thigpen Faulk; and her grandparents, Walter "Tupp", Audrey Holland Faulk, George W. and Annie Whaley Thigpen.
She is survived by: her husband John Richard Martin; and her brothers, Kenny Faulk (Linda) of Mount Olive, Ernie Faulk of Mount Olive, David Faulk (Sheila) of Dudley and Tony Faulk of Mount Olive. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park (1005 N Church St, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Tyndall. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wayne Memorial Park (1005 N Church St, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the same location.
