It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Morton (Newport, North Carolina), who passed away on October 4, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Moody Morton and Gurthey Morton; her brothers, Danny Morton and Eddie Morton; and her siblings' children, Lisa Morton, Milon C. Morton and Mark Morton.
She is survived by: her close friend Kevin Whealton; her siblings, Connie Caudron of Riverdale, Vernon Morton (Nancy) and Milon Morton (Sheila); her sister-in-law Gayle Morton of Broad Creek; her nieces, Anna Caudron of Broad Creek, Jo Ferguson of Riverdale, Josie Mullins of Broad Creek and Kim Cole of Barnsfield; her grandmother DuGay of Havelock; and her nephew Tony Morton of Broad Creek.
