She was predeceased by: her son Frankie West; her sister Mary Henson Pelham; and her father Joseph Henson. She is survived by: her children, Erica, Charlee West of Newport and Jesse West; her mother Beatrice Ruhl; her stepfather John F. Ruhl Sr. of Newport; her brothers, Chris Henson of Georgetown, SC, Mark Henson of New Bern and Samuel Henson of Newport; her stepbrothers, John Ruhl Jr. of Mullica Hill, NJ and Michael Ruhl of Logan Twp, NJ; and her grandchildren, Presley Scoby, Vincent Fisher, Penny Collins and Parker Collins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as a tribute to her son, Frankie West.
