It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William H. Harden Jr. of Newport, North Carolina, born in Oliver, Georgia, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harden and Lillian Harden. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle J. Harden; his children, Jean Reaves of Denver, CO and Billy Harden (Sherry) of Newport, NC; his grandchildren, Hank Harden of Summerville, SC, Raymond Reaves Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA, Kimberly Boudreau of Cox Creek, KY, Steven Reaves of Denver, CO and Jennifer Harden-Mapili of Richlands, NC; and his great grandchildren, Faith Mapili, Hunter Harden, Hannah Harden, Joshua Reaves and Brixton Reaves.

In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Alzheimer's & Dementia Research at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago IL 60601.
