He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory O'Dell and Ruth O'Dell; and his son Jeffery Bowden. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his children, Michael of Little River, SC, Patrick (Sonia) of Princeton, WV, Jimmy Bowden (Samantha) of Coats, NC and Katy Conner of Wake Forest, NC; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Eldridge, Betty Austin of Newton Grove and Jerry Austin of Newton Grove, NC; and his grandchildren, Allison, Jessie, Ryan, Taylor, Brooke, Chris and Jessica. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can made to Unity Presbyterian Church, 11551 NC Hwy 50 S, Newton Grove, NC 2836 *** Mask are required for all services *** Services have been entrusted to West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove, North Carolina.
